Starting out

Was thinking a lot about what game to make. I really enjoyed the Top Gun on the NES back in the day and I though it would be a nice experiment to recreate the game. Initially I tried drawing the sprites for the game. Because I suck at pixelart I couldn't make all of them. I did create this mockup though:

It doesn't look too bad, however, I was having difficulty making drawing the different views of the Jet when it flies by you.

So, I decided to make a 3D game but have it render at a really low resolution to make it appear like it is pixel-art:



It doesn't look too bad. Might have to play around with the colors to have it looking more decent.
